Geometry Year One
For children as young as 5 or new to Montessori, this is the first class into our elementary geometry program. Students begin with the language of 2D and 3D shapes, building a strong foundation in the basics. Using hands-on materials, such as the Constructive Triangles, children discover that triangles are the building blocks of all shapes. This approach makes abstract concepts concrete, giving children both confidence and curiosity as they explore geometry.

What’s Not Included
- Pre-made physical materials – Most resources are provided as PDFs for you to print, copy, and prepare.
- One-on-one coaching or personalized support – Coaching is available, but at an additional cost.
- Independent child supervision – An adult must actively guide the child through the lessons and follow-up work.

I’m excited to bring this Geometry Year One class to you. I didn’t truly understand geometry until I was an adult, working toward my diploma. But the moment I saw and worked with the Montessori geometry materials, it all clicked. Geometry is absolutely beautiful, full of patterns and connections, and it can be incredibly engaging for children. I’m thrilled to share this extraordinary subject with you and your child!
